CONFERENCE INVITATION
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utrecht University, is proud to host the 18th Annual Conference – “Tradition and Innovation in Pharmacy Education: from Content to Process” − of the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy (EAFP) in Utrecht (24-26 May 2012) and warmly welcomes the participants.
Utrecht University is one of the leading Universities in the Netherlands. In 2011 we were celebrating its 375th anniversary, dedicated to research in health sciences, among other disciplines. Utrecht and its surroundings offer a wide range of cultural activities, the old city is famous because of its canals. We would like the participants to enjoy both the amenities offered by Utrecht and its University as well as the scientific programme.
This year’s programme focuses on the need for the Faculties of Pharmacy to adapt their teaching methods to the requirements of the pharmaceutical profession.
The 2012 yearly meeting of the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy will focus on the educational requirements necessary to prepare the future pharmacists for these new roles and new medicine.
